Our summer heatwave is continuing this week! Hopefully you are finding creative ways to stay cool.
The challenge this week is to track your water intake so that you don’t become dehydrated, especially in this heat! Eating hydrating foods such as watermelon can also add to your water intake. The recommendation is to drink half of your body weight in ounces per day. For example, if you weigh 160 pounds, you should drink 80 ounces of water. This of course is not a perfect number; however, it does give you a ballpark to strive for.

SBIFF The Wave Film Festival – France

Take a 14-day cinematic trip to France at the French Wave Film Festival, presented by SBIFF. This annual celebration of French cinema showcases 14 new and 7 classic French films, offering audiences the chance to experience acclaimed storytelling, unforgettable characters, and the artistry of one of the world’s most influential film cultures.
Held at SBIFF’s Film Center, the festival invites film lovers to explore contemporary releases alongside beloved classics through a curated lineup spanning a variety of genres and perspectives. Comedy Live Show and Dinner
When: July 24th, 4:00 – 9:00pm
Where: Elks Lodge

Santa Barbara, CA
Enjoy an evening of laughter and good home cooked food at the Santa Barbara Elks Lodge 613. Bar opens at 4:00pm, with the Comedy Show at 5:30pm followed by Dinner at 7:00pm. There is also a fantastic silent auction and Jolly Bakers sweet treats for purchase.
The bar has for purchase beer, wine, cocktails and a Comedy Night Specialty Drink.
