October is now in full swing, even though it still feels like the heat of the summer with this heat wave! I hope you are finding ways to stay cool!
If you didn’t get a chance to print out the worksheet last week, I have attached it again below.
The challenge this week is to fill out page two of the wellness worksheet to start thinking about where your current strengths are, where you would benefit from some improvement and how you will measure success over the next 30 days.

Downtown Kickin’ Country Line Dancing
When: Wednesday, October 7th
Where: Downtown Santa Barbara in front of Best BBQ
Kick up your heels every Wednesday in October with free country line dancing on State Street! Christy Grant will lead an hour of line dancing lessons from 6–7 p.m., followed by open dancing from 7–8 p.m.
Dancing takes place in front of Best BBQ and Apna Indian Kitchen at 716 State Street, with food and drink specials available throughout the evening.

Spirits in the Air: Potent Portable Poetry
When: October 13, 4:30 – 6:30 PM
Where: The Good Lion:
1212 State Street
Get into the spooky spirit with an evening of poetry at The Good Lion featuring 10 poets sharing both original work and selections from other writers.
The evening begins with a poetic haunted happy hour from 4:30–5:30 p.m., followed by the poetry reading at 5:30 p.m. Settle in with a drink from The Good Lion’s menu and enjoy an eclectic lineup of poetry with a seasonal twist.
